France, Belgium & Germany: An introduction to Europe. France, Belgium & Germany. A different night in a different country.This motorbike tour has it all. Quaint French villages and great French cuisine, to the supberbly engineered German roads. This is a long weekend, Thursday to Sunday, round trip, motorbike tour staying at a different location each night. Please note: Early booking for these tours is essential as space is limited and places are already being taken quickly. Tour overview: Meet in the car park at the East Dock at Dover on Thursday morning before boarding together, then once in the lounge on the ferry, get to know each other over a coffee or three. Here will go through some brief safety details and group riding policies for those that have not ridden in groups previously. The ferry ride will be over in no time and then we are off heading South .We will take as many smaller roads as possible in order to get a true feel for riding in Europe. The first day of this motorcycle holiday sees us head towards Valenciennes. Approx mileage 110 miles. After an early breakfast on day 2, we ride into Germany and head for our next destination, Bernkastel-Kues. Todays route takes us across Luxembourg and through the "Deutsch-Luxemburgischer Naturpark". This evening is spent in Bernkastel-Kues Bernkastel-Kues is one of the most appreciated Moselle towns and is proudly called the centre of the middle Moselle. Guests come here every year, from all over the world, to seek and find diverting recreation in the "international town of vines and wine." Situated on both sides of the river, underneath the ruin of Landshut Castle, the old town invites you to go for a stroll through its historical lanes. Here you will discover its unique, almost hap-hazard ensemble of wonderful medieval half-timbered houses.Today is our longest day approximately 215 miles. Day 3 and we head North towards the town of Halle which is 15km/9miles from Brussels, not far from the linguistic border, on the Senne and on the canal which links Brussels with Charleroi. Approx 175 miles Our last day sees us up early and after breakfast we make our way back to Calais. Approx 130 miles With plenty to see and do this motorcycle tour offers something for everyone The accommodation / stop offs are well situated, friendly and comfortable. This motorbike tour is a round trip tour staying at a different hotel each night and is suitable for all types of bikes. It has a great mix of roads with straights, twists and smooth rolling bends.
