Italy 10 day tour

Italy, Dolomites and Passes: On this motorbike tour we will cover approximately 1800 miles from the time we land at Calais to the time we board the ferry again at Calais.

Through France, Belgium, Germany & Switzerland we ride to the Italian Dolomites and the infamous Stelvio Pass. Maybe this should actually be called a EuroTour!

Meet in the car park at the entrance to the East Dock Dover on Friday morning and board together. (Hull to Zeebrugge on Thursday evening at additional cost)

Then it's up to the lounge area get to know each other over a coffee or three. Here we'll go through some brief safety details and group riding policies for those that have not ridden in groups previously.

Once we disembark at Calais this first day we need to put some miles under our belts in order to reach our first overnight stay in the town of Reims

Day Two and we are heading for Baden Baden in the Black Forest.

Day Three sees us heading South to Bad Sackingen for our third night's stay. The route here is once again on excellent biking roads.

Day Four sees us riding across Switzerland. Amazing scenery, mountains, lakes,and some absolutely breathtaking views.We also start to travel through amazing tunnels bored straight through the mountains.

Travelling through Switzerland we will head for the Fluella Pass before continueing on towards Bormio

Over the next few days we'll enjoy some of the best mountain passes and roads that Europe has to offer.

We could not make this trip without riding the infamous Stelvio Pass. With it's 48 hairpin bends, at 2758 metres it affords amazing views and a thrilling atmosphere where, even on a quiet day, you cannot fail to feel the blood coursing through your veins as you drink in the atmosphere you share with every other biker on the mountain..

This motorbike tour to Italy will also take in some other great Passes such as Gavia Pass. At 2621 metres this road affords some stunning views.(But keep your eye on the road please)

After four days here we begin the return journeyheading North towards Austria to Germany where we will stay overnight in the little town of Uberlingen on the shores of Lake Constance.

From here we move North again to Bern Kastel which is one of the most appreciated Moselle towns and is proudly called "the centre of the middle Moselle".

From here we head to Ypres for our final night before heading to the ferry at Calais in time for the lunchtime sailing.

This motorcycle tour to Italy actually sees us travel through France, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Switzerland as well as Italy and back again. This tour which came about after a tailor made tour for a group of Royal Marines in 2009, was our most popular motorbike tour in 2010 and 2011, and has already attracted a lot of attention for 2012 so early booking is advised!
