France 7 Days tour

France: This motorbike tour into France sees us spending 4 nights at our base South of Limoges with an overnight stop enroute and on our return journey.

Ideally suited to those who don't mind sharing or a group of friends.

Meet in the car park prior to entry at the East Dock Dover on the Friday morning. (Hull to Zeebrugge on Thursday evening at additional cost) Board together and make our way to the lounge on the ferry and get to know each other over a coffee or three. Here will go through some brief safety details and group riding policies for those that have not ridden in groups previously.

The ferry ride will be over in no time and then we are off heading towards our first destination. We will take as many smaller roads as possible in order that we ride through typical french villages so that immediately we get that "on our hols" feeling.

We head South to our overnight stop before an early start on Saturday and after breakfast we make our way to our base in the beautiful Limousin region for the next 4 nights.

Our base is close to some of the best "twisties" in the region. Arrive to a warm welcome and cold beer, settle in secure your bike and enjoy a relaxing home cooked meal with ample wine and cold beer.

Our hosts are a British couple who are also year round bikers, who afford us their experience of some of the best routes to be found in this part of France.

Each day will start with a full English Breakfast (or cereals / toast for those that prefer a lighter start) and then out on the bikes for some fantastic roads and scenery.

Sunday - Start the day slowly with a cooked English Breakfast, Check bikes out then enjoy a rideout to Oradour-Sur-Glane "The WWII Martyred Village" along some exceptional biking roads. Back to base for a home cooked evening meal and some cold beer and relax.

Monday - Gentle ride down to Guoffre de Padirac and Rocamadour taking in this spectacular town climbing a cliff and see the eagles sore before heading home once more to enjoy a few beers and telling tales of the trip .

Tuesday - Up early for an English Breakfast and then a ride to Mary Peak volcano in the Cantal Region of France for Lunch and Chateau de Val for afternoon coffee then returning to a relaxing evening meal cold beer and wine

Wednesday - Today we start our journey back, again on some great roads with something for everyone and our last overnight stay at Abbeville.
