France:
Our gateway to Europe. France has a great deal to offer and not
only french food and great motorbiking roads. It also has a great
warmth & hospitality and we will be riding through some amazing
countryside as well as beautiful coastal roads.
Remember this
is a motorbiking holiday not a test of stamina, so we will have
plenty of stops to take in the views, and to refuel both bikes
and bodies
Tour
overview:
Meet
in the lounge on the ferry on Monday morning and get to know each
other over a coffee or three. Here will go through some brief
safety details and group riding policies for those that have not
ridden in groups previously.
The ferry
ride will be over in no time and then we are off heading towards
our first
destination. We will take as many smaller roads as possible in
orderthat we ride through typical french villages so that immediately
we get that "on our hols" feeling.
A very straightforward/uncomplicated
route this is an ideal tour for those who have
never toured abroad before and gives you an opportunity to get
used to the french roads and systems.
Much of this
route follows the coastline/coastal roads but we also ride through
some beautiful countryside.
We take a
short detour to visit the Cathedrale de Notre Dame de Coutances,before
continuing South to our first destination, the coastal town of
Plerin.

Day Two: Tuesday
sees us continuing South towards the coast
Day Three:
Wednesday. Today from our base we ride out on some local routes,
but an easy day's riding with plenty of time to soak up some sun
and enjoy the local beverages.
Day Four:
Thursday. Today includes a ride out to Chateaubriant...a must
for the meat lovers amongst us.
Day Five:
Then it's back to the ferry for the return trip Friday afternoon,
so you'll be back in time to go to the pub at the weekend and
tell everyone about your motorbiking adventure.
