Northern Spain 6 day tour

Spain: On this motorbike tour to Spain, we will cover approximately 700 miles from the time we land at Santander to the time we board the ferry again.

Through small villages in valleys and high up in the mountains and through the Northern mountains of Spain. Tapas, fantastic roads and Spanish hospitality.

Starting with the ferry crossing to Santander, this journey will take us South West before turning East skirting the banks of the Ebro Resevoir ( Embalse del Ebro) to Vitoria for our first overnight stop. Green countryside speckled with terracota roofed farmhouses adorn the route.

From Vitoria we continue South through Rioja country to Logrono and then onto Soria and eventually our next night at Calatayud. Vineyards at every corner

From Calatayud we head North East to Zaragoza and then North to Pamplona famous for it's "Running of The Bulls" event.

Today we will encounter hair pin bends and some steep roads, then spend the last night in Vitoria before we rise early as today unfortunately, sees us heading back towards Santander and the ferry home. The upside is more great roads all the way.

This route is quite gentle to start with but soon we start to climb and the road gets more and more twisty with perfect tarmac spreading seamlessly from long meandering stretches and then back into the tighter twists and turns before opening out again and eventually heading back to Santander.
