Spain 10 day tour

Spain: On this motorbike tour to Spain, we will cover approximately 1200 miles from the time we land at Santander to the time we board the ferry again.

Through small villages in valleys and high up in the mountains and through the heart of Spain. Fantastic food and Spanish hospitality.

Starting with the ferry crossing to Santander, this journey will take us South West to Salamanca for our first overnight stop. Today is the one where cover most motorway in order to get to our first overnight stay.

From Salamanca we continue South through the Parque Nacional de Monfrague renknowned for its high densities of large birds such as Black Vulture Spanish imperial Eagle, Black Stork, Griffon Vulture, Perdicera Eagle, Golden Eagle and more. A long day with plenty to see and eventually staying overnight at Caceres

From Caceres we continue heading South East to Trujillo and then onto Cuidad Real.

From here we head North East to Cuenca and on to Calatayud. This part of the tour takes us through the Alto Tajo mountains. The Alto Tajo are a joy to ride through, but the toughest part is to keep your eyes on the road, as you try to take in all the sights around you.

Today we ride through the Sierra de Cebollera national park where we will encounter hair pin bends and some steep roads, then spend the last night in Logrono before we rise early as today unfortunately, sees us heading back towards Santander and the ferry home. The upside is more great roads all the way.
