Survival Tours are an ideal way to prepare for those long distance
tours that you want to eventually go on. Did Ewan McGregor &
Charley Boorman just jump on their bikes and ride? No.....they
did loads of prep such as survival training, first aid, map reading
etc.What happens when the bike breaks down, your phone or satnav
batteries are flat or there is an accident? Whether you are planning
to ride further afield or closer to home, either as a group or
on your own, the skills learn't here will be invaluable.

which type of modern day tent to carry on your bike, to basic
shelters built from natural materials..
Traps
& Snares
fFrom
the very basic to the more complex all made from what you carry
and what you'll find around you. You will learn how to use them
efficiently, effectively and as humanely as possible.
Working
as individual motorcyclists and as a team you will encounter both
class work and practical situations.We will cover practical map
reading whilst riding through the Welsh mountains and come across
accident scenarios

you will have the opportunity to stay overnight in your own
self-made shelter, the emphasis is on learning, so most nights
are in our self contained cottage.

Relying on moderrn day gadgets in the wilderness is madness. You
